If I could pass a law:
Work on restoring Yosemite Valley to a more natural condition. I would try to pass a law limiting the amount of development and potentially remove some of the current infrastructure.

The person who inspires me most is…:
My mother
If I was a shape-shifter, I’d turn into:
Peregrine Falcon.
My Motto:
Bears are people too.
Most memorable outdoor moment:
The first time I climbed El Capitan. The cold, inhospitable rock face released us after 28 hours of suffering and continuous upward movement. We summited the Nose route in the early morning and watched the sun rise over the east end of Yosemite Valley. Working hard towards a goal, giving it my best shot despite fear and uncertainty of the outcome, made me feel vibrant.
